Thicket was designed, inked and digitized by moi, l'Abcdarienne, in late 1994. It contains plenty o' diacriticals and symbols (except the scientific ones that you would never use with this font).
It is straight from my brushed lettering work and is meant to communicate an organic, tangling appearance. Although it is complexly textured, Thicket is surprisingly legible at small sizes; however, it is ever so much more pleasing when set at large point sizes.
By the way..
The name Thicket was randomly generated by dropping my finger into the pages of the book "David and the Phoenix" by Edward Ormondroyd (good book!).
