Every day I get some ugly buildings in my sight and on my nerves. Another box with misplaced holes! Sometimes I get back there years later and everything is fine, thanks to the residents it's overgrown with Virginia creeper up to the roof, flower-pots in front of the holes, a jungle in the front-garden.

All this was on my mind when I put the font together. And so were Miro, Frutiger and other artists who concede space to floral elements. You will find square symbols derived from the rounded ones, make a comparision.
